By: Peter Katsiris

Asteras Tripolis FC have another managerial fiasco on their hands as Argentinean bench-boss Mario Gomez has submitted his resignation after a 1-0 win at FC Kavala on Saturday.

The former RCD Mallorca coach has steered the Arcadians to an undefeated start to the season with one draw and a victory after two weekends of action; however, for undisclosed reasons, Gomez submitted his resignation to the Asteras Tripolis board late Monday evening.

The panel, however, rejected the gesture leaving the Argentine's future at the club uncertain after only signing on with the Peloponnesian side this summer.
